About

I am a graduate student in the M.S. Clinical Psychology program at Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, California, where I am training as an MFT/LPCC clinician. My background spans counseling, research, mentorship, and community mental health across settings in California and India.

I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Mithibai College in Mumbai (2020–2023), followed by a postgraduate diploma in Child Psychotherapies at Maniben Nanavati Women's College. Working across hospital wards, school counseling spaces, and community outreach, I began to understand that clinical work is rarely about just the presenting problem; it is about how a person makes sense of their experiences, relationships, and themselves.

This has shaped my approach to therapy. I am drawn to working in a way that is curious, relational, and collaborative, paying attention not only to what is said, but also to the patterns, emotions, and meanings that emerge over time.

I am particularly interested in the intersection of clinical practice and accessible mental health care. Alongside my direct client work, I have contributed to academic support and research at NDNU, and previously managed mental health content for TheShrinkSays, a platform focused on making psychology more approachable and relevant to everyday life.

Outside of work

Outside of clinical work, I'm often drawn to conversations that explore meaning, identity, and the questions people don't always have clear answers to.

I also enjoy movement, whether through dance, sports, or working out, which offers a different way of engaging with experience beyond words.
